Check the [http://pogamut.cuni.cz/pogamut_files/latest/doc/tutorials/ch04s04.html|Empty Bot tutorial] - control server interface has changed, but most of the functions were preserved. 

Also now you can use @JProp annotation to change variables of the bot online from the IDE. 

For this you need to have Pogamut NetBeans plugin installed - use installer from ((Download)) section.
