I have created unofficial GB version that is compatible with client version 2.3 that adds limited support for BombingRun game. 

GameBots can be downloaded here:
http://artemis.ms.mff.cuni.cz/pogamut_files/GBBombingRun09-04-13.zip

The server can be run by this command:
..\UT2004\System\ucc server BR-IceFields?game=BotAPI.BotBombingRun

Note:
The support is really limited, there are no messages that would export the location of ball or of hole.
